If you only see a blog post as an essay whose only job is to boost your SEO ranking, I’m here to tell you a blog is sooo much more than that.

It’s an opportunity for your business with ideal clients who are actively searching for the solutions you provide.

Your dream clients are searching on Google and Pinterest constantly. The key is being there to answer their questions and save their day! Let your blog be their answer and once they land on it, the key is to convert them from a reader to a raving fan!

That can’t happen if your blog post leads to a dead end with nothing for the reader to do next.

Unless you make your blog into a mini-website! I’m kind of obsessed with this idea and I’m hoping that by the end of this post, you will be too.

How to Optimize Your Footer

★ Intro:

Introduce yourself, keep it short and sweet. Who you are and who you serve.

★ Service Snippet:

This would be a great place to highlight your signature offer (s). Mention the biggest benefits and a link to your service page.

★ Email Invite:

Get them into your email list by enticing them with what they can look forward to if they join. Add a link to your opt-in page, button, or in-form.

★ Contact Info:

Add in your social links, email address, website, etc. 

★ Lead Magnet:

Flex your expertise and give them a quick win! Add a little copy about the freebie and a link where they can grab it.

★ Special Mentions:

Do you have a course launching soon? A crazy good podcast interview that you were in? Share the news here!

By placing all of this information on this page, you’ll be able to better convert your readers as many may not start browsing around your site, you’re bringing the information to them.

Bonus tip: Make a blog template that includes a footer and duplicate it each time you make a new post, you’ll save so much time!
